Grammar Help for Teachers
Do you teach? Thank you, on behalf of the Society for the Promotion of Good Grammar. If we ruled the world, we would pay you more, give you smaller classes, and insist that people put you on the pedestal of worship that you deserve.
Alas, we do not rule the world. We don't even rule our own household (but only because we have a very charismatic 7-year-old).
The best we can do is offer some help with your students. Here are PDFs for you to download and use.
For all students:
SPOGG membership cards
For elementary school students:
The Punctuation Rap by SPOGG's teacher of
the Year, Lindsay Rivas
For middle and high school students:
A Correct the Celebrity Exercise
and Answer Key
If we can provide additional information, please let us know. If you have lessons that you'd like to share, please send them along. Or, if there are things you'd like to see here, let us know and we'll do our best to oblige. We will continue to add to the packet over the years. National Grammar Day is here to stay.
